Our founder, Mike Lambert, was the energetic visionary of Amigos de la Presa. With the creation of his original boating club in Pittsburgh, Pa., he had all the motivation and expertise necessary to start another rowing and paddling group here in San Miguel de Allende. That was well nearly two decades ago. Over that time Mike was instrumental in creating many of our current programs, both in the water and with regard to the conservation of our local watershed. We continue to tip our hat to Mr. Lambert, now residing in West Virginia. My best guess is that he is rowing right now
